An important step toward student achievement (College & Career Readiness) is being present in school. School attendance is critical to student academic success.
As you know, California has adopted the Common Core Standards. Our District held several meetings last year to share the new changes happening in math, but in case you still have questions, please click on the attached article.
Our math teachers will further explain their courses at our Back to School Night on September 18th.
All 8th graders are strongly encouraged to take ReadiStep, a system of assessments modeled after the SAT, PSAT, and NMSQT, to be held on 10/16/2014. Please submit your student's application by October 9 to the Main Office. We are requesting a donation of $10 with each student application.
Dear Pleasanton Middle School Families,
The Track to Success project has been a success! With the generous $5,000 donation from Safeway, our school has raised a total of $30,000! This is truly an incredible achievement that will benefit Pleasanton Middle School students for years to come. The new track was built this summer and is now ready for this school year!
